A Traditional Pub Experience

It is with sadness that we announce The Gardeners Arms will be closing its doors under the current management.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our customers, staff, and friends who have supported us over the months. It’s been a joy to be part of the Sompting community, and we’ve made memories here that will last a lifetime.

From 13th July 2025, the pub will be under new ownership. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know what their plans are for the venue — but we sincerely hope it will continue to serve as a welcoming place for the community in the future.

📅 Revised Opening Hours (30th June – 12th July)

To give everyone a chance to come by for a final drink or two, we’ve adjusted our opening hours:

• Monday: Closed

• Tuesday: 3pm – 11pm

• Wednesday: 3pm – 11pm

• Thursday: 3pm – 11pm

• Friday: 12pm – 11pm

• Saturday: 11:30am – 11pm

• Sunday: 11:30am – 4pm

🎉 Our final trading day will be Saturday, 12th July.

From Sunday 13th July onwards, the pub will be closed until the new management decide what they wish to do next.
